* Please have swimmers arrive by 445 to set-up, and be ready to start warm-ups at 5

River City Racer's Conference Meet

Kirkwood High School is our location this year. We'll be in the Natatorium and the Denver Miller Gym.

We cannot make any changes to our line up past Thurs 7/13.  

Volunteer Check in: 7:30 AM

BBW Warm ups: 8-8:20 AM, lanes 1-3

Timer Meeting: 8:15 AM

Staging/Bullpen Meeting: 8:15 AM

All families will work a job duty if they have a swimmer in conference.  We have many of the jobs split in shifts so that you can spectate at least part of the time if your job is not on the deck.  Deck access will be restricted this year.  Unless you have a job duty on the swim deck, parents will not be allowed to stand at the end of the lanes to watch.  

Your swimmer must have swam in at minimum 3 meets AND have swam their stroke legally to be entered into conference.  We want as many swimmers as we can get to swim! Conference is fun and the kids love swimming in a big indoor pool! 

There will be no concessions at conference.  Pack snacks, water, and lunches for your families.  Please respect the school and help your swimmers clean up after themselves.  

Bullpen activities-  The meet will move fast, it is a lot of swimmers but we have 8 lanes and lots of planning behind the scenes to make it as smooth as possible.  Swimmers will not be permitted to play any games with balls in the gym as the floor may be wet on the tarps.  We encourage bringing card games, books, or other busy activities.  

Job duties will be posted in the coming week, everyone must pitch in to help the event be a success!

Please be aware of neighborhood parking signs.  Home team is encouraged to drop off and use street parking to help welcome our visiting team.  

Home team warm ups: 4:45 pm

Visiting team warm ups: 5 pm

Volunteer check in is at our bar by the concessions stand.  Timer meeting with our official is at 5:15 sharp.  

We have a large field next to our pool that is our bull pen.  Home team is closest to the parking lot and visiting teams usually prefer to be under a big tree in front of our tennis courts (next to a ga ga ball pit).  

Bring chairs for your spectators and flashlights in case the meet goes later, the bullpen can become pretty dark.  

Our concessions stand takes credit cards and has a wide variety of options: hot dogs, burgers, brats, french fries, onion rings, chips, candy, sodas, gatorade, and ice cream treats.
